Updated September 12, 2026. Black Ops 7 Season 6 launches September 17 at 9 a.m. PT with The Haunting, a huge Halloween update spanning Multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame and Call of Duty: Warzone. The season adds frightening maps, limited-time modes, new weapons, a DOOM event and more than 45 earnable camos.
Black Ops 7 Season 6 Release Date and Time
Season 6 begins Thursday, September 17, at 9 a.m. PT across all supported platforms. Activision describes it as a season-long horror takeover with launch content and additional in-season events.
Black Ops 7 Season 6: 15 Biggest Haunting Changes
- Haunted Hollow: Warzone’s Haven’s Hollow receives a dark supernatural makeover filled with new routes and secrets.
- Ghost Train: Players can temporarily phase a spectral train into reality to reach supply boxes, a Buy Station and a Mystery Box.
- Giant Infected: This 64-player Warzone mode starts with eight Infected hunting Survivors who must build and detonate a DNA Bomb.
- Avalon at Night: Endgame activities now unfold in a darker version of Avalon with more dangerous visibility conditions.
- Forbidden Summoning: Squads can break seals to unleash and fight a new threat for rewards.
- Bloodstead: A horror-themed 6v6 Multiplayer map transforms the familiar Homestead location.
- Quantum: This new Multiplayer map takes combat inside an Arctic computing facility.
- T.E.D.D. Trials: A 6v6 Hardpoint-style mode brings Zombies maps into Multiplayer, with undead allegiance changing around objective control.
- Freeze Tag: The returning mode lets teammates break allies out of ice before the opposing team freezes everyone.
- Tenshu Survival: Zombies receives a new Survival map and expanded Rogue Run content.
- Halloween Rogue Run: Pumpkin-headed enemies and special pedestal rewards appear across Rogue Run playlists.
- Super Easter Egg: Players who completed every main quest across the round-based Zombies maps can unlock new rewards, including The Warden Operator.
- Four New Weapons: The TR51 Para rifle, VMP SMG, Arcblade melee weapon and Roc 20mm special weapon join the arsenal.
- DOOM Event Pass: A themed event includes free and premium reward tracks.
- New Battle Pass: Blackjack leads a pass with 100-plus rewards and up to 1,100 COD Points.
Haunted Hollow and Giant Infected Explained
Haunted Hollow changes the Warzone environment with a burning Lumbermill, a gravity vortex at the Mansion and occult discoveries around town. Giant Infected turns it into a large-scale Survivors-versus-Infected fight. Survivors attempt to construct a DNA Bomb while the Infected try to convert the entire lobby.
Black Ops 7 Multiplayer Maps and Modes
Bloodstead and Quantum lead the Multiplayer additions. T.E.D.D. Trials uses Zombies locations for an unusual objective mode where red-eyed zombies attack everyone, while blue-eyed undead support the team controlling the Hardpoint. Freeze Tag arrives in-season with proximity chat enabled.
New Season 6 Weapons
The VMP is a fast-handling SMG unlocked through the Battle Pass, while the TR51 Para is a new assault rifle. Events and weekly challenges add the Arcblade and Roc 20mm. New attachments include ricochet rounds for the VS Recon, a vertical magazine for the Dravec 45 and a fire-rate kit for the Sokol 545.
DOOM Event Pass Rewards
The free track offers cosmetics, XP tokens and the Roc 20mm weapon. The premium track adds DOOM-inspired Operator content and themed rewards. Because some rewards are time-limited, check the in-game Events tab when Season 6 goes live.
Battle Pass and BlackCell
The standard Battle Pass costs 1,100 COD Points, while the 2,400-point bundle includes 20 Tokens. Two base weapons are available through free Battle Pass progression. BlackCell adds 1,100 COD Points, exclusive Operator skins, weapon blueprints and extra daily challenges.

Warzone players should explore Haunted Hollow and Giant Infected. Multiplayer fans can begin with Bloodstead and T.E.D.D. Trials, while Zombies completionists should check the Super Easter Egg reward and the Tenshu Survival map.
