Rainbow Six Siege Ranks Explained (2026): RP, Tiers and Ranked

Rainbow Six Siege ranks

September 1, 2026

Rainbow Six Siege ranks provide the visible seasonal ladder from Copper to Champion. Ranked Points move the displayed rank, while the matchmaking system also uses a hidden skill estimate to build appropriate lobbies. Because visible progression and matchmaking skill are related but not identical, early-season gains can feel very different between accounts.

Rainbow Six Siege ranks order

The visible order is Copper, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Emerald, Diamond and Champion. Most tiers contain numbered divisions, with Division V at the lower end and Division I closest to the next tier. Champion is the highest destination.

Ubisoft can adjust Ranked rules, eligibility and reward requirements. Check the current Ranked guide inside Siege and official support notes after a new season.

How Ranked Points work

Winning adds RP and losing removes it. The amount is influenced by the relationship between the displayed rank and the system’s estimate of the player’s skill. When the displayed rank is below that estimate, gains may be larger and losses smaller.

As visible rank approaches the estimated level, gains and losses become more balanced. A short streak does not permanently define the account; the system responds to results over time.

Hidden skill and matchmaking

Hidden skill helps create matches even while visible ranks reset or begin low in a new season. This is why two players displaying Copper can face very different opponents. The badge shows seasonal progress, not the complete matchmaking calculation.

No legitimate website can display or modify every private matchmaking value. Avoid services claiming to repair MMR, sell easy lobbies or guarantee Champion.

Ranked eligibility

Ranked access requires the account to meet Ubisoft’s current level and security conditions. Phone verification or other protective steps may be required. These rules reduce abuse and change over time.

Complete verification only through Ubisoft’s official client and account pages. Never send a one-time code to a teammate, booster or tournament organizer you cannot verify.

How parties affect Ranked

Squads improve communication, but party eligibility and rank restrictions depend on the active rules. Matchmaking must account for the skill of the group, so bringing a much stronger teammate does not guarantee easier matches.

Use clear callouts and agreed operator roles. A coordinated average squad often performs better than a mechanically strong group with no plan.

A practical climbing plan

Learn a small operator pool for attack and defense, including at least one flexible support option. Review objective setups, common utility positions and safe drone routes. Siege rewards information and preparation as much as aim.

After a loss, identify the earliest fixable mistake: an unused drone, missing reinforcement, poor trade spacing or a late rotation. Correcting one repeatable mistake is more productive than changing sensitivity after every match.

  • Warm up aim without exhausting focus.
  • Use both drones instead of treating the first as disposable.
  • Communicate concise information.
  • Play for trades rather than isolated fights.
  • Keep enough time for the objective.
  • Stop when frustration damages decision-making.

Seasonal rewards and resets

Ranked rewards are tied to the season and highest or achieved milestones under current rules. A new season changes visible progression, but the matchmaking system retains information needed to form reasonable games.

Read the official seasonal announcement for reward charms, backgrounds or packs. Do not pay a booster to obtain a cosmetic reward.

Fair play and account safety

Cheats, recoil scripts, account sharing and boosting can produce sanctions and compromise credentials. Report suspicious behavior through the in-game system and allow Ubisoft’s review process to evaluate evidence.

Secure Ubisoft Connect and the connected email with unique passwords and multifactor authentication.
